We, Terry & Sue George, moved to France to achieve our dream and have created a haven where you can relax and share the magic of the French countryside.

Wander at your leisure around our quiet farming hamlet in the unspoilt countryside of the stunning Gatine Hills in South West France. Hear the call of the buzzard's whilst walking along quiet country lanes, spot the herons taking flight from nearby ponds and enjoy true peace and tranquillity in our secluded, scented gardens. Marvel at the range of colours in the autumnal leaves, warm yourself by the log burner after a crisp winter walk, be inspired by the abundance of all the yellow spring flowers in the hedgerows or bask in the heat of the long lazy summer days, our cottages offer somewhere special to stay in all seasons.

Chez Tranquillité is a light and spacious two bedroomed, luxury stone cottage with charming original features in harmony with quality modern home comforts, perfect for family holidays.

Chez Sérénité is a creatively designed, detached stone barn conversion offering split-level quality accommodation with a large master bedroom, ideal for a romantic holiday for two.

Both cottages enjoy stylish interior design, quality soft furnishings, cosy "Clearview" log burners for all year comfort and relaxing private gardens filled with lavender and herb rockeries. Lovingly restored using natural materials complimentary to the area, such as stone, wood and terracotta, we have created luxurious yet welcoming gites, that will accommodate all your holiday wishes. The cottages are open all year round and are an ideal retreat for you to relax in and discover this beautiful corner of France.

Choose between exploring the waterways of the "Green Venice" and the byways of Mervent Forest. Feel the excitement of Puy du Fou or the fantasy of Futuroscope. Alternatively visit one of Europe's largest inland fishing lakes nearby. Have a taste of French romance by wining and dining in our local gourmet restaurants before returning to your retreat to smell the perfume of the lavender whilst watching the sun setting from your own beautiful garden.
