Terms and Conditions of Booking
A deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required
with the completed Booking
Form. Cheques, either in sterling or euros, should be made payable
to: Mrs S. George.
Confirmation of the booking will be forwarded to you,
with details of the date by which the remaining balance must be
paid. The balance will be expected 8 weeks prior to the start of
your holiday; however, a reminder will be sent to you approximately
10 weeks prior to departure.
If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before the
commencement of your holiday, then the full amount is payable with
the completed Booking Form.
Deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations MUST
BE NOTIFIED IN WRITING. If the property is re-let for the cancellation
period then the deposit may be refunded, less a 10% handling fee,
at the discretion of the owners.
A bond is required in the form of a cheque for 150
pounds or 200 euros upon arrival. Our commitment to you is to return
the cheque within 7 days of the end of your holiday provided no
damage or losses occurred during your stay.
The owners will not accept liability for any loss
or damage to guests, their belongings or third parties, for loss
or damage to motor vehicles or their contents, however caused.
Conditions of Hire
Our cottages are non smoking cottages for a maximum
of four persons plus a baby in Chez Tranquillité
and 2 adults and a baby in Chez Sérénité.
Sorry, no pets allowed. The cottages are available
from 4.00pm on the first day of your holiday and must be vacated
by 10.00am on the last day of your holiday.
You agree to leave the cottages in a clean and tidy
condition. Any breakages and losses must be paid for. Please let
us know if any item is damaged or broken so that we can properly
prepare the accommodation for our next guests. The rental includes
quality bed linen, towels and tea towels, gas, electricity, water
and wood for the log burner in the winter.
Holiday Hints
Here are a few hints and tips to help your holiday
run as smoothly as possible!
Travel Insurance is obligatory for all our guests.
This will assist you in such cases as delayed or cancelled travel
arrangements, illness abroad or theft.
If travelling by car, please check with your insurers
regarding the necessary documentation and European breakdown cover.
Travel insurance can be arranged through your own insurance broker,
travel agents or your local supermarket!
For assistance with health cover abroad, visit any
UK post office and apply for your free up to date European Health
Insurance Card. |
